What is Summer Program for Kids?
Essex County College's Summer Program for Kids offers your child an enriching alternative to the traditional summer camp. Participants are offered a variety of courses with which they can create their own unique summer educational experience.
Participants choose four courses from the array of course offerings. Each course meets 1 1/2 hours a day for five weeks. (Monday through Thursday). On Fridays, educational and recreational field trips will be given to such places as museums, science fairs and amusement parks.
Who is eligible?
All youngsters who will be between the ages of 10-15 years of age by the first day of the program are eligible for the Summer Program for Kids.
How do I register?
Registration is simple! Just print and complete the registration form from this website. Remember, you must register your child for four courses. The time for each course can be found in our brochure. Registration deadline is June 26, 2009.
